Stay safe from fraud
Only send money to family and friends you know personally. Never send money to someone you haven’t met in person, and avoid transfers for unverified emergencies, online purchases, fees, prizes, rentals, taxes or immigration matters — these are common scam tactics. Once paid, transfers are usually received quickly and can’t be refunded except in limited circumstances. If you suspect fraud, contact Kyodai straight away.
Tips for a smooth process
- Have all the beneficiary’s details ready before you start: full name, address, contact info and payment method.
- Check that the beneficiary’s name matches their official ID exactly — same spelling and order of names.
