If you no longer need your Kyodai Remittance account, you can cancel your membership at any time. We recommend keeping your account active in case you need to send money again in the future, but cancellation is available if required.
How to cancel your account
If you use the Kyodai app or web account
Log in to your account using the Kyodai Remittance app or website.
Open the menu.
Select Cancel my account.
Review the cancellation conditions and follow the on-screen instructions.
Once you receive a confirmation of cancellation, your membership will be cancelled.
If you do not use the app or web account
If you do not have an active online account:
Read the important notes in the section below before cancelling.
Send an email from the email address registered with Kyodai Remittance stating:
“I would like to cancel my Kyodai Remittance membership.”Include a short reason to confirm your intention to cancel.
Once you receive a confirmation of cancellation by email, your membership will be cancelled.
If you have not registered an email address
If you have not registered an email address with Kyodai Remittance:
Visit a Kyodai Remittance service counter in person.
Complete the cancellation form provided by staff.
Once your request is confirmed, your membership will be cancelled.
Important notes before cancelling
Please review the following before cancelling your account:
You will no longer be able to access the Kyodai app or web account.
You will not be able to send or receive money using Kyodai Remittance.
Any remaining balance or Kyodai Stars will be permanently deleted. Please request a withdrawal before cancelling if applicable.
Your registered personal information will be removed from your account.
For legal and regulatory reasons, customer and transaction records may still be retained for a required period even after cancellation.
