Registration approval times by method

Kyodai app (recommended)

• If you complete electronic identity verification (eKYC) in the app, your registration may be approved within a few hours. Once approved, you can start sending money immediately.

Kyodai counter or agent

• When you register in person at a Kyodai branch or agent, staff will help you complete the process. In some cases, you may be able to send money on the same day.

Online registration (website)

• Registrations completed through the website usually take three to five business days to be approved. You can send money after approval.

Registration by post

• Postal registrations generally take three to five business days to process after Kyodai receives your documents. You can send money once your registration is approved.
